Summer Band Party

Scott's dad is in this great little band, and they get together every summer and put on a performance at the end of their circle. It is a big party and tons of friends and neighbors show up to BBQ and dance. It is always so much fun! Here is the band playing and some people dancing and hula hooping. Jack got to play the drums before they started. But of course, as soon as I got up there with the camera, he decided he was done.
The star of the band! Grandpa!!! He plays the drums most of the time, but he also plays guitar and sings for a couple of songs.

Jack had a blast! He ran around and around, and would twirl in circles (that's his way of dancing). He stayed in the center part of the time, but a lot of the time we had to chase him all over the street.
I can't wait to do it again next summer!
