Every year, the whole Morris clan gets together for the Riverton parade, since Scott's grandparents live right off the parade route. After the parade, we all walk back to their house and have a BBQ. Last year, Jack was not quite 6 months old, and he screamed the whole time. But this year he had a blast! I think the motorcycle police men were his favorite, and then the horses. Other than that, the parade was pretty much crap anyway. Just dumb people advertising their business. But he still had a lot of fun running up and down the sidewalk and picking up candy.

Grandma and cousin Trey, and his mom (Allison) and dad (Brent) in the background...
Back row, Scott's grandpa and grandma, Scott of course, then his mom and dad in the front....
Grandma and Trey (mistig everyone with the squirt bottle), Scott's sister Jayme and her husband Joe (along with little Diesel!), Brent, and the lovely back of Dee's (Allison's) head...
Cute little Diesel! (Jayme's tiny little chihuahua). He barked like crazy at the horses...
Jack and daddy, and Scott's older brother Justin...
The parade lasted 2 hours (way too long!!!), so we didn't start eating till after 9:00, which is Jack's normal bedtime. But he had eaten a ton of candy at the parade, so he had no problem staying awake. He ended up not going to bed till 10:30! When it got really dark we got out the pop-its and the sparklers. Jack loved the pop-its, but he couldn't quite throw them hard enough, so I had to help. He liked the sparklers, but was a little too nervous to hold one. We got a couple cute pictures of us with the sparklers, but they are on Scott's parent's camera, since my bateries died (oops!). So as soon as I get those I'll put them on. Overall it was a great night!
