Scott's parents are amazing and they offered to buy Jack a new bed! They must've felt sorry for my poor child still sleeping in a tiny toddler bed. hehe So on Saturday we all headed to IKEA. Jack loved riding on the big cart. Look at the 3 generations of handsome Morris men!

We brought the bed home and poor Scott and Bob spent 3 1/2 hours putting this thing together. You guys are the greatest! My dad came down to check it out and got these cute pictures of Jack. They're really blurry and the lighting is horrible, but still cute. Jack was totally posing and hamming it up for him. He won't do that for me, of course.
He discovered he can hang from the bar like a monkey and swing. He just couldn't figure out how to get down. Ummm..... HELP!
Here's the bed all put together and made up with the super cute bedding my dad bought for him last Christmas and just now got opened. Thanks again dad! The bed can be flipped over later to be a top bunk bed with a play/lounge area underneath. Jack loves it! The other sides of the white panels are blue, which doesn't match his bedding. So I'm going to probably paint them with magnetic paint so he can play with his magnet alphabet on the end of the bed.
Don't worry, the ugly black curtains are not permanent. They are just a makeshift fort until I can find something really cute to hang on there instead. This is Jack's new favorite place to play, with both curtains closed.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Bob and Sue!!!! Jack LOVES his new big boy bed!
